The history of boxing sports back in its
origin to ancient Greeks who were the first who played this famous sporting

Miguel Angel Cotto, whose nickname is Junito,

Antonio Margarito, is a famous boxer, whose
nationality is Mexican. He was born in March, 1978 in California, United States. His nickname is
Tijuana Tornado. He was rated at welterweight also.
Margarito has a good boxing record as well.
We can notice that his total fights are forty two, while he won 36 times, won
by KO 26, and lost only 5.
Antonio Margarito could defeat Antonio Diaz
in 2002 and could defend the crown to be regarded as an actual champion
according to both The Ring and An Independent Magazines. In 2003, he could
defeat Maurice Brantley in Arizona.
By 2004, he back to welterweight and could defeat the undefeated at that time,
Hercules Kyvelos, the Canadian.
Yet, in July, 2007, he lost his WBO belt by
Paul Williams, but he could defeat Cintron in April, 2008 and recovered the IBF
welterweight championship.
