Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, known as Cristiano Ronaldo (Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, 5 February 1985), is a footballer who plays for Portuguese side, both by the banda left as right, Manchester United Football Club. For his technique, speed, agility, racing and shooting to door, is considered by many as one of the best players in the world. He has been elected the Best Player of the Premier League in 2007 and 2008, as well as Portuguese Athlete of the Year in those two years. In late 2007, Fifa chose him in third position for the Fifa World Player award, behind Kaká and Lionel Messi.
