Andy Murray won Cincinnati Masters Series tennis tournament

The 21-year-old Scottish player Andy Murray has proclaimed this Sunday winner of Masters Series in Cincinnati, United States, defeating Novak Djokovic in two sets, 7-6 and 7-6. Murray takes his first Masters Series title.

The Serbian started the match by attacking his rival, as he had done with Nadal the day before, Trant to break the game Murray. However, the Scots not only knew withstand attacks by Djokovic, but also gained confidence throughout the match.

Djokovic reached the final as favourite, having defeated the next world number one in the first semi-finals and with a record of four victories in the last five times they had faced the Scots. Murray had better serve.

In a very equalized, Murray needed two hours and 23 minutes to close a final escape into the left four match balls.
