The British Andy Murray, new world number 2 at the expense of the Spanish Rafael Nadal celebrated his new status with the title at the 1000 Masters tournament in Montreal (Canada), whose final beat Argentine Juan Martin del Potro 6 -4 (4), 7-6 (3) and 6-1 in two hours and 34 minutes of fighting.
