Chauncey Billups made his debut with a win at Denver

DENVER, USA, Nov. 7, 2008 .- Chauncey Billups started his second term in Denver with 15 points, three assists and three robberies of the ball, and the Nuggets had good performances by Carmelo Anthony and Nené 108-105 on Friday to defeat the Dallas Mavericks.
Anthony had 28 points, four of them in crucial free throws near the end. The Brazilian Nené finished with 19 points and reserve JR Smith scored 15 for the Nuggets, who came to take a lead of 10 points in the final period.
Jason Kidd had 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for the Mavericks.
Dirk Nowitzki finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Brandon Bass had 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Grizzlies 109, Warriors 104
OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 7, 2008 .- Hakeem Warrick had 19 points and 10 rebounds, the rookie OJ May added 20 points and the Memphis Grizzlies, in their best offensive performance of the season, were imposed on Friday for the Golden State Warriors 109-104.
Darrell Arthur had his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Rudy Gay scored 23 points to help the Grizzlies beat the Warriors for the second time in five days.
Stephen Jackson had 27 points for Golden State, while Andris Biedrins added 23 points and 12 rebounds.
The Warriors were without the injured Monta Ellis, Corey Maggette and Al Harrington.
