OKLAHOMA CITY, USA, Jan. 14, 2009 .- Jeff Green scored 23 points, Russell Westbrook added 22 and Kevin Durant had 21, while the Thunder in Oklahoma City used a 22-7 offensive in the third period to take control of the game and 114-93 defeat on Wednesday by the Utah Jazz.
Nenad Krstic had 14 units and 11 rebounds and Nick Collison grabbed 11 boards for the ball to the Thunder, who picked up a 48-26 advantage in Utah. It was the seventh victory for the Thunder in the season and fourth in eight games.
Deron Williams scored 25 points for the Jazz, who had cut its chain of four consecutive wins, all at home. This was the fifth defeat followed the team as a visitor. Kyle Korver had 14 points, but only two were in the second half.
Utah, one of the teams in the league with better effectiveness in their shots, only 10 of 24 shots was right field in the third quarter when the Thunder scored 36 units, its best output in the second quarter in the season.
