Rockets overcome a smooth Kings

HOUSTON, USA, Feb. 11, 2009 .- The Chinese Yao Ming had 24 points and 18 rebounds, Rafer Alston handed out 13 assists, his best figures of the campaign, and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday again won without the injured Tracy McGrady, this time by 94-82 to the Sacramento Kings.
Argentine Luis Scola added 19 points and 11 rebounds and Ron Artest had 19 units for the Rockets, who are now 12-6 when foja of McGrady is absent, so far this season.
Scola played 30:51 minutes, which was right six of 11 field shots and seven of nine from the line of punishment. Also added 11 rebounds, two assists and three misdemeanors.
McGrady missed his 17th game is a pain in his left knee, after undergoing surgery earlier this year. It also lost an encounter with a sprained ankle.
After a poor first half, the Rockets did not need much of the troubled Kings before McGrady, who scored only 31 points in the second and third period.
For the Kings, the Dominican Francisco Garcia played 29:22 minutes, with seven points, five rebounds, three assists and two misdemeanors.
