No decision to withdraw Allen Iverson

WASHINGTON, USA, Mar. 24, 2009 .- A federal appeals court on Tuesday rejected a request from the player of the Detroit Pistons, Allen Iverson, to withdraw the sentence against him of having to pay 260 thousand dollars of compensation for watch a fight of his bodyguards in a bar in Washington.
The court comprising three judges were unanimous in rejecting the request for Iverson andalusia a jury verdict in 2007.

Iverson’s lawyers had asked the appeals court to withdraw the ruling, but the three judges ruled that the evidence of passive involvement of the player was fully established.
