Kreuziger wins Tour de Romandie

The Czech rider Roman Kreuziger of the Liquigas team, won the final victory in the Tour de Romandie, which ended Sunday in Switzerland.
The fifth and last stage was won by the Spanish sprinter Oscar Freire of the Rabobank team, who won the line of ruling on the American Tyler Farrar of Team Garmin, and the Spanish Euskaltel’s Koldo Fernandez.
In the overall rankings, Kreuziger manage to keep the jersey of the leader, who had taken on Saturday, holding 18 seconds ahead of Russian Vladimir Karpets of Katusha, finished third while the Estonian Rein Taaramae, the Cofidis team, to 25 seconds.
The best Spanish was Alejandro Valverde, Caisse D’Epargne ombudsman, who ended fourth, 46 seconds to the winner.
